LFC in Exile

The teams from Friday night from eleven-a-side:
Finn Harps – Gallagher, Ferry (Asokuh 57), Minnock, D Boyle, Gradley, Mohan, Crossan (Friars 57), McGreneghan, Breen, McHugh, Funston.
Limerick – Fyffe, Kerley, Ahern, Finucane, Whyte (Healy 45), Molan, Harnett, Quigley, Cosgrove, Keogh, Mernagh.
Is this right. Did John healy - a keeper - come on for John Whyte at half-time. If so, things have surely hit their lowest point.
Yes it's true.
Also we are going to Bray tonight with 11 men no subs from what I have been told. CP (suspended), Keogh(Suspended), Conway (On Holidays), O'Mahony (In Hospital recovering from a Toe operation), White (Injured).
This must be a new low and the Term "Blue Day" meant for next Sat really means more than wearing a shirt, it means the sad state of affairs we are currently in.

I think the ldmc have a hell of a lot to answer for in this issue.I have spoken to four junior players at the weekend who would love to take the plunge and have a go at Eircom League football with Limerick. They obviously do not fancy the idea of kicking their heels for 18 months if the club folds, or they don't cut it.
I can't help but feel that Mike Kerley isn't quite strong enough a personality to attract players on loan form other clubs. He doesn't seem to have the same network of contacts Noel and Tommy Lynch seem to have had. I feel he should have tried harder with the likes of Brian Buckley, David Wall, Conor Lynch, Brian Lawlor and a few others, but didn't. I think he lacks passion and does not come across as very dedicated. He seems to just be happy to go thru the motions.Gareth Cooney is another case in point.A few quid should have been made available to tempt people like Gareth to the club. I know what he was looking for and its not out of our league.
The time has come for a complete overhaul. The FAI need to get more involved in our plight and made aware of just how bad the situation really is.We are becoming more than the proverbial laughing stock. We are a disgrace. And it all stems from the roots of the committee in my opinion, and their inability to spot the obvious. :(

Healy came on and went in goal and Jimmy Fyffe went up front where I believe he started the game against Bray up until his red card.
