So, it's emerged that the party's think-in is considering a name change (http://www.thejournal.ie/fianna-fail-nua-party-discusses-name-change-174920-Jul2011/) and logo rebranding - with the current Eighties revival, I think the "People's Democratic Republican Party" would go down a storm.

I assume that's directed at me?? Era, I'm not too bothered. I'm not a FF supporter. I have no allegiance to any political party and the name or potential re-naming of a party wouldn't sway my vote either way. I'd need something more substantive. The head honchos in FF need to realise that until all members connected to their "former glories" are gone and replaced by younger, "cleaner", candidates then a re-branding is a waste of time.
