To be fair to our 'friends' in the North, it was 29 years ago today that they beat a certain host nation in Espana '82.

Seriously, though, can you imagine how good a united Irish team would have been in that WC as we were pretty handy too and robbed of getting there by some cretin of a linesman. Sound familiar?
