Does yer keeper,the old guy thats about 50 and a small bit mad have a son thats a keeper aswell around 22 wild forest?

no deadly man his son is 17 and plays midfield fine player as well.. his dad is giving it one more shot this season as far as i know 51 and counting mad out :D

I'll say what I like on this forum it's the forum my team is involved with you however should be posting in the 2B forum that's where your tin pot club with yer lack of a decent setup plays and by right ye shouldn't be playing in the city league as ye are based about 40km outside town

Yeah they are miles out of town but so are a good few other teams,the question is where do you draw the line lad???

Well Deadly Man, a couple of my friends went out there and signed, including my brother. I have good time for the manager as well. Lovely setup out there with 2 lovely pitches and nice dressing rooms. We like to play football as well. It's only my second season this year. Really enjoyed my first season so I said I'd stay. I know it's a half an hour drive for matches/trainings but a few of us travel from Limerick so we share the driving. Very good team spirit out there too

Think you have me confused with someone else wild forest I was never a sub not when we were beating ye anyway. Not that there is any shame in being a sub it's a squad game. Time to move on from this now good luck next year but me thinks it'll be a long season for ye if ye haven't improved yer squad.

Dont be so sure there, lot of good sides that also have some former premier players and if the rumors are right there could be a surprise or two in this division, time will tell

Great facilities out in Newport in fairness, lovely pitches as well. Always seem to be stuck going from 2A to 2B though and vice-versa!

For that last comment I hope you dont win anything or get promoted. Il remeber this comment just to laugh at you if ye are still in 2A next year.There is nothing I hate more than big heads before ye even kicked a ball.
As for Meskall and Lenihan signing, Meskall is good but doesnt he put GAA first before soccer and Dean Lenihan is mediocre player, very hot and cold.

Played Caherconlish last week in a friendly and were beating a 1A team 1.0
before it was blown up, if they do go into this league i would make them one of the favourites

I take back everything i said played Rearcross tonight who are an average side and lost on penalties.They lacked cutting edge up front and could only muster up 1 goal wheith alot of good chances. Alot of individuals the management need the players to play as a team.Playing the boro saturday if tonight is anything to go bye we shoud be chicken feed to them.

Opening game of the season on Saturday evening against Aisling, should be a tense affair since three of their player left them for the chance to play with the Port. We are in good form at the moment beat the Boro' 3-0 and gave Rathkeale a lesson in one touch football beating them 6-2. Players are coming into form at the right time and team looked extremely fit so fingers crossed with get one over on our neighbours, as this derby game is bound to be epic stuff.

Beat Annacotty 6-0 excellent start to the season. Annacotty very poor though no creative player in the team. Playing Hyde during the week should be a much tougher task.
