Wow nothing like good data. That makes even more sick, McCarthy bew it at home to Switz by taking off Harte and throwing on a striker - he got away with that tactic in the WC 2 or 3 times, he was going to get punished some time. We never recovered from bad call.

McCarthy blew it in more ways than that. He had become emotionally attatched to certain ****e players like Harte, Kilbane, Breen, Kelly, McAteer, Carsley and so on and was not willing to drop them even though better options were clearly available.
