It seems Wes Hoolahan (and Marc Tierney) could be in the Premiership after tonight if Norwich can beat Portsmouth.

Not that many years ago when we had a fine number of players at Forest.

Yeah but they all ended up being not very good, except for Andy Reid in fits and spurts.
He Keith Foy , Barry Roach and Liam Kearney were all there around the same time.

Well I have just solved myself a mystery, I could not understand why you could still get odds on QPR
being promoted given that they are well above Norwich who have already been promoted.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/q/qpr/9473285.stm

Just as well I was going to take advantage of the 'mistake' and put my life savings (£27.23) on QPR being promoted.

Any how that could change the whole promotion race dragging a couple more teams into it, depending
on the size of the deduction, So Millwall and Burnley might come into the mix and QPR would be excluded.

Well Leeds didn't make it, all the rest did, QPR had no points deducted.

Forest face Swansea and Reading face Cardiff in the play offs.

Wolves have a great chance to move out of the relegation zone now if tottenham beat blackpool

Only if Wolves get a point or more tomorrow.
If fact if Spurs win 1-0 and Wolves draw they will be level on both points and goal difference,
not sure what happens then.
Actually I have just realised, that will just take them above Blackpool, Wolves need a win
to go to 37 points, one above Wigan who are on 36.
It will certainly help if Spurs give Blackpool a drubbing.

Nightmare scenario is if Blackpool win!!

I expect McCarthy has his prayer matt out!!

Sledge will hopefully not be plying his trade in League one next year? Disaster for us if he is!!

Kevin Long at Burnley, he was tipped for big things not that long back. Still quite young I suppose.

So who do we want to see relegated and promoted from/to the Premier League.
It'll have to be Reading to come up and West Ham, Blackpool and Wigan to go down? Keane's only on loan so he'll either be playing low end of the Premier next season or he can stick with what will probably be a strong West Ham team in the Championship and if nothing else he'll be scoring goals. Wigan: If they go down there will be a lot of suitors looking at McCarthy, plus to look at it optimistically, players like Rodellega, N'Zogbia and to a lesser extent, Moses and DiSanto will probably move on, giving Sammon potentially a lot of game time. And West Ham. If they go what about Andy Reid? Well the other choices are to see either Keith Andrews or Keith Fahey relegated and in my opinion both offer more to Ireland at the moment that Reid (I know Andrews has been injured for most of the season, but I'm going on how was playing for club and country before this)

Looks like Wigan are relegated at the moment, 2-0 down to west ham.
Also looking very good for Wolves, it looks like both Blackpool and Birmingham will have to win
next week to send them down.

Robbie went down, but Conor and James are still in with a shot.

Delighted Wolves survived... Wouldn't have been too bothered had Wigan or Blackburn gone. McCarthy would have gotten a move anyway and Salmon would be better served in the Championship next season. Gutted for Fahy.
