Bray Wanderers announce the appointment of local voluntary youth leader Bryan Hunt as the Club's Community officer.

Born and bred in Bray, Bryan was a founder member of Celtic Youth, Bray and is actively involved in many youth projects in the area. He has revived the Bray Summer Project and is responsible for a new and improved version that will be a highlight of the youth programme for the current year.

Bryan has a background in education, both of his parents are school teachers; so is one of his sisters, the other one works for the United Nations.

His brother is a student and Bryan himself practises what he preaches - he is currently enrolled in the Liberties College in Dublin. His subject, Youth and Community Work of course!

Bryan Hunt already has a number of projects planned involving Bray Wanderers and can be contacted on 086-404 3909.

His appointment is one of a series designed to strengthen and enlarge the executive team at the Football Club.

Another very positive step by the club !

It's good to see Bray improving all the time off the pitch, it will keep confidence up if we go through a bad run off the pitch and even gives us hope that when we return and establish ourselves in the Prem that we can eventually seriously consider competing with the likes of Bohs, Shels and Cork as Longford, Waterford and even Drogheda have taken steps toward recently (even though some might say that Drogheda are'nt so strong behind the scenes)
