Won't be an easy game. There is nothing really to gain financially from this cup or any of the ties but to win something would be nice. No reason we can't go all the way to the final in this cup.

A club will always gain financially from a home cup tie, no matter how little.

Dunno about that for the simple reason it will be most likely a very small crowd, midweek , there will be the usual costs and 35% of the gate will go to Monaghan.

Ive been told that Mons only get 35% of the gate after the costs for the game are taken out. Could be completely wrong but thats what i was told.

I think the 35% (as opposed to 50% to Mons) is to allow for costs?
