He has been belatedly been awarded one 3 years after YBIG's campaign for this first started,
now billed as Ireland v.Rest Of the World at The Kassam Stadium on Sunday May 1st.
Exact KO tbc. but a pm game, as a Bank Holiday in England the next day.

It's mainly because he was left disabled after his playing career for club & country.

Of interest to our, er, Northern friends, is that presuming they are both fit enough, the team in green is liable to feature a Mr.William Hamilton and Philip Gray, them both also being Oxford legends!

Thought this had more recent information but is a better link to look/share, longer-term as through the official site.

Will try and 'bump' this once in a while as if over in the S-E. of Eng or also an OXford, Blues or Derby fann this is well worth supporting.

Sorry to hear that, good luck to the big man.

It sounds rather more like 'one team of retired Oxford players v another' surely?

Somehow, don't think that would bring in as many punters....

You're close enough to put in an appearance?

Dave Langan was a great Irish Player in his day. I am pretty sure he was voted the best full back by his peers on at least one occasion in the First Division (Before Premier league nonsense)

He deserves as much support as everyone can muster.
