Recommend a new laptop/tablet

As much as I liked my laptop, I've got rid as I'm fed up with it and want something new. My budget is 600 euro at the max, cheaper the better. I have access to a desktop for work/typing etc. so really looking for a plaything - watching films and the usual websites-news and here etc. So what do you recommend? any good laptop deals here or would I get more from a tablet/iPad type yoke?

I got a Lenovo last year and really like it, very nice machine.

Like the look of the HP touchpad, but it isn't out til the summer and not sure pricing has been decided yet.
