Where can i start ,,

That was a bloody disgrace tonight, which team was formed in the last six weeks and which team was together last year,, bohs were much better all round the pitch, faster to the ball they read the game much better, pased to there own players , fought for the ball.

We can't carry players because they only score peno's (the odd time), jake did nothing, kept loosing the ball bad passing, shane was lost up front, mulroy had a great game when he came on.Graham Kelly had some good runs on the wings but i still think he is better in the middle, shields as usual kept fighting...dempsey did nothing special..

Wasn't a great performance, but there are some good signs there.

Graham Kelly should start in the middle - Danny had a poor game. Mulroy caused some problems when he came on.
I think there was a general sloppiness to to our game tonight, but you could see that Bohs were fitter, physically stronger and a lot sharper than us.
It was always going to be a tough game and I've no complaints about the result - the better team won.

Felt sorry for Shane - he was up against a good and physical defence and got no real chances to use his pace.

Have to disagree with your bit on Dempsey - I thought he was his usual self - comitted to tackles, winning balls in the air against taller players. I thought he was our best player tonight.
Bohs just made it look like they were playing with 12 men.

Didn't like where part of the 'ultras' booed the team off at half and full time.
I know we weren't great, but were in a better position than the first game last season. (Not league position obviously).

Great crowd there - just a pity a lot of them might not return for the next home game.

3 times the ref had to blow coz the ball was moving when he took it.

Thankfully Gaz took it on the 4th attempt.

Why are bohs team fitter, stronger and sharper than us at the start of a season,, the bohs team were only put together in the last few weeks ,, do we now ask about our fitness program in pre season training.. Yes there was a few good points to our performance tonight,, G. Kelly did have a good game and he should start in the middle, mulroy and mcguiness looked very good tonight.. maybe i did not expect such a good performance from a new bohs team..

Some strong words there Naoise. It's just one game in fairness. Bohs played very well, Brennan and Fagan were both particularly good. Theyve also played a competetive game in the Setanta. It will get better.

Some strong words there Naoise. It's just one game in fairness. Bohs played very well, Brennan and Fagan were both particularly good. Theyve also played a competetive game in the Setanta. It will get better.


Brennan and Fagan were a different class ,, but we lacked everything that the lads showed in the last games of last season, i just expected more of that in this game, i have no doubt they will get better in future games..

Dane was stupid to elbow Brennan as he ran passed him, he was lucky the lines man and ref missed it..

I too was disappointed with our rustiness - Bohs were sharper to every ball. Their forwards looked a handful every time that the ball went forward - ours didnt. We lost the middle of the field almost throughout the match.
Our defence looked under pressure to clear balls all of the time.
We didnt have enough width - Brennan threathened us but we didnt get down the flanks at all.

Prendergast and Shaw will make a differerence - hopefully they are back soon

Ridiculously ott reaction, first game of the season labelled 'bloody disgrace'. So we're 'carrying' Jake Kelly now?? How soon before we see 'Devo out' here, any odds? Wanderers were poor, Bohs fully deserved the win but let's give it a bit of time before slinging mud...

The keeper was kicking the ball away in frustration and smashed it straight into his face.
The gimp didnt even apologise afaik.

Fair play to the lads, IMO they were excellent for 30 mins and as usual a poor decision goes against them (pen that was given was clearly outside area) and Bohs score and they grew in confidence, Boh's are Full-Time and train 5/6 days a week and even if they are only 3 weeks together they are professionals and look after themselves, Bray are semi-pro and train 3 nights a week after they finish their day jobs...Anyway I think we are looking good for the season ahead, plenty of competition for places with the new signings, Prendagast was missed the other night.......as for your disgraceful remark kop yourself on it was the first game of 36 to be played....
