Test vote.

A quick question, no preference for Martin Ferris? I was always under the impression that he was well enough liked/respected in the Kerry/Limerick region.

He has a good personal vote, but for various reasons, I've never voted Sinn Féin up to now, maybe when all the old IRA people retire. Nothing against Deenihan either, but he'll top the poll anyway.

Your point on Deenihan is how I look at Burton and Varadkar, they'll get elected as they're visible. How strong is SF in your region. I worked with a guy whose family were staunch SF'ers in Kerry, though he'd always told me how good they were etc. It all seemed very local though.

I'm considering giving John Bracken first preference as a protest! We had a few of the new independents around the weekend. What a funny lot!

I just put these lists up so Dahamsta could set up a proper poll. He said he would in another thread.

I will, but there's an awful lot of copying and pasting there, one candidate at a time. Anyone want to start from the bottom while I work from the top? Multiple volunteers welcome!

EDIT: osarusan, jesus, thanks for pulling all these in!

Do we really have the numbers for a constituency by constituency poll? We got fewer that 50 votes in the last poll so that would average less than two voters per constituency.

I guess it would be interesting to see the spread of foot users though :)

Not on it often but boards.ie have a decent poll running.

Speaking of Boards Election Poll, I see that Cavan-Monaghan has 333 people voted and have "elected" 2 Sinn Fein candidates. Ummmm it all adds up. Also has 2 FG and the one labour candidate past the post but I cant see Minister Brendan Smith losing his seat even if he came out with posters saying he was from the Satan Worshipers Party.

osarusan, sincere apologies for not converting all of your hard work into actual polls, just bad timing on my part, didn't have the time to dedicate to it. It was a great idea though and I'll definitely do it next time around, assuming the junta hasn't kicked. ;)

Any chance of a foot.ie exit poll for tomorrow?

No worries, as Mr A said, there might have been very few votes for a lot of constituencies anyway.

Also, as holidaysong mentioned, an exit poll would be nice.
