Over here (in the US) I use Allegra (prescription). It does the trick. I must say my allergies became must worse when I move here 12 years ago. Thankfully the Allegrea does the trick.

Well mine got much worse when I moved back here... Never had hayfever, or never noticed it when I was living in Manchester. Luckily Clarityn does the trick for me...

Try Pollena by Nelsons. It homeopathic and did the trick for my better half (which made my life much better too). You'll get it in most chemists.

Forget the injections or tablets. Best bet are eye drops. I started using couple of years ago & was amazed with difference...

Its all related. Eye drops will help nose too.

AFAIK GPs are slow to give the injection due to possible side effects.

If Clarityn doesn't work get prescription from Doc for Neo Clarityn. Very good.

forgot to say, a spoon of honey is very good too as a prevention

I don't suffer too badly from it but I've found Zirtek to be good.

An old Victorian patent medicine by the name of Rhyno's Hay Fever and Catarrh remedy, once available in all good chemists but now only from selective outlets. I believe it goes by the name of cocaine these days.

This version is CRAP.

Ive been suffering really bad this past 5 years, only got it in my mid 20s (Gods curse for all the slagging of sufferers in the past  )

Clarityn does Jack **** for me, Zirtek Just makes the sneezing and itching stop but blocks my nose like cement.

Ive been told there is a type of Honey from New Zealand thats available that will cure it outright with a spoonfull a day, cant get the name of it, anyone hear of it ??

On a related but different subject....when I wake up some mornings, my eyes are stuck closed as I seem to have too much sleep in my eyes. First time it fairly frightened the bejaysus out of me. I thought I was gone blind.
Any ideas on this or similar experiences, or am I really the freak they say I am....
