Any experts on here can recommend me some stuff to read up on, I've decided to educate myself?? :)

I already did a year of it as one of my modules in college so I already have an inkling about macroeconomics, microeconomics, friedman, keynes, marx and all that but only an inkling!

Any recommendations appreciated.

If you want to step away from the mainstream and into more modern, theoretical stuff, more entertainment than hardcore economics, Freakonomics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freakonomics) is quite good, and Wikinomics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikinomics) is supposed to be good too (I have it in my pile). If you can recommend anything that actually states that Keynesian economics isn't all it's cracked up to be and can we please, for the love of god, stop revering the man and move on, I'd love to read it. Current macroeconomics seems to get getting worse instead of better.
