Republic of Ireland Under-21 Manager Don Givens has called Eamon Zayed of Bray Wanderers and Mark O'Brien of Shamrock Rovers into his squad for Tuesday's international friendly with Scotland at Terryland Park, Galway.

The duo come in following the withdrawal of two English based players. Manchester City's Stephen Elliott and Leeds' Paul Keegan have both been ruled out through injury.

Givens had also intended to call in Galway United's John Russell, but he has suffered an injury while away with the League Under-21 side in Scotland and has been ruled out.

Zayed will join Daryl Murphy tomorrow in a direct flight to Galway to join up with the rest of the Under-21 squad ahead of Tuesday's match.
