Howya lads and ladies,

I'll cut straight to it, we're a site for Irish men and we've been going for a year now. Trouble is that our sport section needs some serious attention from people who know all about it.

So if you'd like the chance to have your stuff seen by nearly 200,000 unique visitors a month (and rising) why not give it a shot?

You needn't be a pro writer, just enjoy sports. Check out the link below for more info...

And feel free to take a look around the whole site too while you're there.

That's it, I'll stop before I ramble any more.

Hope to hear from you.

Sorry maxi but not sure I would be comfortable with sharing my work on your site with my teenage sons.:-)

Huge thanks to the powers that be for allowing us to put the ad up.

And a massive thanks to all who replied. There's always room for more, so if any of you have concerns but are maybe thinking about it, give us a shout.

Thanks again lads.

Hi,

Not all of it.

We really encourage writers to write in their own voice. if that includes laughs, then we're happy too. Basically if a writer enjoys writing about a subject, the reader will enjoy reading it.

I could have written about sport myself, but it would have been half hearted, copy and pasted and sloppy.

I know what I'm good at and sport isn't it!

Not LOL MC, LOI. League of Ireland. You really do need a football writer... ;)

That's what happens when you glance over something before running out the door in a rush!

Any and all areas of sport writing are welcome, foreign and domestic.

This is a bit like those Tesco operators that stand and watch you do the work at the self service checkout and they get to collect their wages at the end of the month.

Your reward, "do the work and we'll give you the left overs from the freebies noone else wanted". FFS.

Sports writing with tits, you've come to the right place.

Only messing best of luck with the venture.
