seems she lost a vote in the agm or whatever it was the other day and is unhappy about it. there's a piece in the daily mail on thursday i think but cant find a link.
There's mention of it here: http://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/league-of-ireland/gannon-exit-leaves-fingal-in-frantic-funding-search-2465626.html

No she's no relation to Jim Rhatigan, she just happened to know him and then got involved in Kilkenny City. She's from Lanesboro in Co Longford I think. She has gotten us a decent sponsor for the last few years since Kilkenny dropped out. I'd say we voted for her alright, we've a tendency to back the wrong horse in these elections though this one is understandable enough I suppose.
She got shafted. She was trying to raise questions on Mr. Delaney's Salary and the true debt on the Aviva. Delaney has surrounded himself with yes men and the managment Board of the FAI are all people who Delaney for their positions and therefore they wont rock the boat.
Strange one. Seemed the 'establishment' squeezed her out but I honestly hadn't heard of her before. maybe if she rattles enough cages she'll get it next time?

Doubt it. It's been tried before (Brendan Dillon for one).

There's no way back for anybody who openly opposes or questions Delaney. That's been his M.O. from the day he took over. It's his way or the high way. Pity for her but she's been involved long enough to know how the game is played, it shouldn't be a surprise.

Doubt it Dodge.
She'd have been well known in official circles and has been pushing her agenda for the last year/18 months. In this case it appears there wasn't the appetite for change.

Yeah that would be her. Mid to late thirties-ish I think. Don't want to do her a disservice !
