Malmo played their latest league match tonight. A 0-0 all draw at home, that puts them into second in the table.

FT Malmo FF 0 - 0 Kalmar

Their results last few matchs havent been as impressive as before. :)

They have won 3 of their opening 8 league games and the Swedish League is poor.

Yeah but can also say they only lost 1 from 8, unbeaten at home etc...

Swedish Table (http://soccerway.com/results/?filename=soccer_data/tab/taulu.full.swe0.html)

btw the swedish league is far better than the eL.

i dont think the swedish league is "far better" than LOI. Malmö are not up to much at the moment, there's talk that the manager could be on his way out.... the swedish league is talking a break for the euro-champs after next week so these boys wont be match fit at the time of the tie.

all in all, i'd fancy cork bet malmö.

all signing for top European Clubs in the last few years...

They're not playing in the league now though so your argument is flawed.
We have loads of young players who travel to Britain at a young age because of its close proximity and the absence of a language barrier. With the club license requiring a youth programme in each eL club now you'll see more young players abroad being credited to eL clubs even though they may never play for the senior teams.
I'm not saying that the eL is better than the Swedish league but your argument carries little weight.

Sorry but its not!
It proves that over the last 5-6 years Swedish football has been producing quality players, I can name more if you want......

I do think most people would rather play for Arsenal, Ajax, PSG, Hansa Rostock than play for Dunfermline, Carlisle United or Hull City!!!!!!!!

Players such as Asper, Ndiwia Kangana, Skoog, etc will be leaving for top European clubs fairly soon!

So Peader B0llox to that!

Doubt if Skoog will, isn't he 29? And i wouldn't call Iraklis a top european club. :p
I would reckon that Swedish football is at least a division above us, especially seeing as organisationally they are miles ahead.
We can still dream though.
