I don't have the team-line up for the day, if I had, I'd be listing the Kerry League team that beat Waterford United in a shoot-out in March '08.
kerry has a good few at the moment; Derek O'brien, Shane Guthrie, Billy Dennehy. Probably more...
Ford
Cunigham Sinnot Hawkins Davo
Russell Seamie Foley O'Donnell
Faherty Lee
totally forgot about forde he def would of been my keeper , but cunningham and lee never played eircom league and i would hope your team is current players still playing and not team of all time

True but the Kerry League XI of that day still get my vote. It was a great day, great result, well worth going down from Limerick for, to watch the game.

Hennessey the goalkeeper used to be with Cobh and Waterford I think??
Shedload of Kerry lads passed through Limerick FC aswell, Stephen O'Mahony, the two Conways, James Sugrue, Timmy Lynch, Chris Kerins, Stephen Goggin off the top of my head, we've two more Kerry lads this year. None of em set the world alight but they've all played LoI.
Kerry could possibly claim Denis Behan aswell depending on which end of Abbeyfeale he's from. :) :ball:

I'm sure Behan is Limerick! ;)
He's nearly the size of Limerick anyway...

I'll go with 4-3-3
Waterford:
GK: Brian Murphy
RB: John Hayes
CB: Kenny Browne
CB: David Breen
LB: John Frost
RCM: Alan Kirby
CM: John "Chilli" Power
LCM: Shane Robinson
FW: Daryl Murphy
FW: Noel Hunt
FW: Paschal "Snackbox" Keane
Very similar for me, but I'll go:
Brian Murphy
Darren Lonergan
Kenny Browne
Alan Barry
Jim Beglin
Shane Robinson
Alan Reynolds
Alan Kirby
Noel Hunt
Pascal Keane
Daryl Murphy

Not sure we could field 11 yet but give us a few more years. We could claim Conan Byrne if there was a parent/grandmother rule though.
Magicme if you actually look back we've had plenty of locals in squads in the past, you may want to brush up on your history! (although in fairness some players didn't actually play that much and it is a fairly recent selection i have here!!)
Aaron Mc Carey GK
Jim Murphy RB
James Hand LB
Paul Whelan CB
Ashley White CB
Paul Shiels CM
Jonathon Douglas CM
Paul Smyth LM
Stephen Finnegan RM (almost sure he played a few games)
Simon Douglas ST
Nicolas Corrigan ST (again, pretty sure he played)
