In the process of compiling our all-time league records etc for the purposes of setting up a club stats website (which, since I don't know anything about HTML and am more or less relying on what I can learn in Dreamweaver as I go along, would be quite an achievement), I've discovered that a startling injustice has been served upon a Dublin City legend.
All official sources that I've come across state that Robbie Farrell scored twelve goals for us in the 2001/2002 season. In fact, he scored 14 - his hat-trick in the 3-1 win over Waterford (one of two he scored that season, the other coming against Limerick) appears to be the root of the confusion. So remember, ROBBIE FARRELL SCORED 14 GOALS FOR US IN 2001/02.
