Gerry,
How come 5 sides got a bye into the next round?
Was it pure luck we were picked or was it due to previous results in competition?

It's just that there's an uneven number of teams in the competition, 21. The next round is to balance things up. It may have been better if they had had a preliminary round to do this. Anyway, following a draw, it's straight to the last 8 for CCFC.

Maybe this might motivate the players to win the competition.I know it is only the league cup and has no European qualification but it is still a trophy and has prize money too!!
A trophy's a trophy. God knows it's btter than the Munster Senior Cup. Does anyone think that we could actually NOT win the M.S.C, if we tried really really hard?! I think we still would probably!
