You ask the question as if there's the possibility of one of them not bottling it. (There's not.)

I reckon Shams could crumble under the pressure. Just a feeling.:nails:

Bohs have already bottled it, Rovers will fall over the line to win the title, If only we could have hung onto our leads in this round of games:(

Suspect that the "last choke was on us" last Friday. Agree with PartySaint that Shams will just fall over the line. Given recent events literally any set of results are possible

Bohs and Shams will both bottle it giving Shams the title, just about.

A bit of hope for Bohs fans....

On our promotion year we faced a similar situation...with Shels only needing a home win against Limerick for promotion, while we had to beat Kildare to give ourselves a sniff.

Having easily accounted of Kildare 6-1....wild celebrations were moments away when Colin Scanlons injury time equaliser in Tolka sent us up at Shels expense....The lesson to be learned....anything can happen in football!!!!!

Lookin forward to it anyway

If Bray weren't facing into a playoff on Tuesday I'd think Bohs had a decent chance. But as things stand it's very hard to see Rovers screw this up.

Bray to score stoppage time winner in the Carlisle Grounds followed 3 seconds later by a Dundalk stoppage time winner in Dalymount

Going by the crap standards and endless bottling this season that scenario couldn't surprise anyone

Only certainty about tonight is that whoever takes the title will be the worst team to win it in about 10 years.

A team that plays a poor quality of football, despite the resources they have, will win the league. Don't think that narrows it down though.

Can't see Rovers losing to us with the team we'll probably put out on Friday. Considering they'd trampled us 4-1 back in August when we had a full-strength team, they should do it.

A thread about Rovers and Bohs with the word 'bottling' in the title and no references to hooliganism? Well I never...

Everyones forgetting Derry City who've been doing their best to piddle away the First Division ever since the height of the marching season.

They're more than capable of losing 9-0 to Monaghan with a 1-0 Waterford win in Tolka handing Waterford the title IMHO.

Great night.

Can't believe I looked at that mns clip. Glutton for punishment.
That night still rankles to this day. Went straight to Fagans and drowned my sorrows. Headed back to the gaff, oh how I miss living in Drumcondra, played a bit of pro ev. Then hit the town and woke up in a hoop after drinking half a bottle of absinthe.

A weekend of infamy that will live long in the memory. It still hurts.

Roll on Saturday. Bring on the blas!

Paddys go 9/1 Dundalkfc to win

More chance of Derry losing the league..

As long as Dundalk are not involved in another 5 goal margin final game, I'll take that..

He still works with the club afaik, doing coaching sessions with two to six year olds would you believe!

He used to have letters from Dundalk stuck up in his club office, dunno if he's ever been up there. I think he even had a glut of Dundalk ladies trying to "friend" him on bebo at one stage!! :D

Dunno if he's still playing Junior, only ever scored one other goal for the club, never really made it with the first team!

Pity there aren't a few more weeks left in the season, then most of us could cheer Sligo on as Champions. THEY'D deserve it.

Then hit the town and woke up in a hoop after drinking half a bottle of absinthe.

You might have another chance of that tonight - there's bound to be a few of them drunk around town if they get the right result in Bray.

Thankfully not tonight. Getting out of Dodge Laoghaire at 6 so will miss the scuts coming in on the dart. Phew. So happy we're playing tomorrow. Not in the humour of that misery inducing weather.
