Not a bad set of results for City tonite. Shels getting hammered by Rovers, and the other two games 0 all. It may turn out that alot teams will take points off each other. I can't see Drogheda, Waterford or Rovers being ahead of us at the end of the season. With a bit (or alot!) of luck Shels may start dropping points. If we can keep a settled team (get Greg and Flynny back into the first 11) and build a bit of confidence we could well be right back in it after we play Shels on the 8th of June.
Here's hoping anyway :) :)

as the cliche goes, the table doesn't lie. but in all fairness, having seen most of the teams in the league so far, shels look the pick of the litter, and pats and DC are definitely the worst two teams i've seen (with DC being just slightly worse of the two). bohs have gone backwards this year, and you can't argue but that shams and waaherfurd have been stronger than anyone would have expected. its probably between those 2 and city for the 2-4 places.

then again (by way of a caveat), with the season in england just finishing, the transfer window opening and some teams no doubt getting an injection of new blood, things could change fairly sharpish.
