I thought it would be an interesting or funny take on the usual yahoo life we all know goes on in small country towns, but almost right away I saw it was a pretty poor rip off of Trailer Park Boys. I wouldn't mind if they all had consistent accents, or if there was a genuine effort to create characters completely different to those in Nova Scotia, but I just couldn't enjoy it. I hope it picks up, but.....

Have you seen the old episodes on youtube? Far better than the episode on RTE, which a lot of Hardy Bucks fans were afraid would happen.

So its totally different? I only saw the youtube ones and thought they were funny enough
Its a big rip off of the excellent Trailer Park Boys but at least they acknowledge that

I think the problem I had personally was that the format was lifted straight from TPB, it could be so much better as a stand alone show. I just hope it improves as it is a potentially good story.

The show on youtube is far better, rte made a balls of the one they show.

To be honest, it just looks like the writers have run out of ideas.
