Retractable roof is the way to go, might even force us to play it on the deck ;)

what keeper doesn't hoof the ball when it is laid back to him......

why should a centre back be any different if your excusing Digger. Digger isn't accurate nor does he vary it enough either.

ffs, hardly an excuse but I watch Digger in 100% of my eircom league games, I know digger is a top class shot stopper but his distribution lets us down. I don't know much about other keepers because I watch LTFC more than I do any other team.

well then think of any keeper you have ever seen, i don't know one that can give a decent pass, its cause they are not taught it from a young age, which should be the way....they are footballers after all

I'll probably have to agree with Max here. I wouldn't say that Diggers distribution is great, but that's not what we primarily expect from a keeper.
Maybe if our center-halfs could play a bit more ball, he might have a bit more confidence in giving it short.
If he did give it short now, what do you honestly think is going to happen?
Same thing that always. They'll boot it long instead of him.

And our full backs? It'd rarely go short to the centre backs anyway - And Dillo and Prunty are ball players...

Kinda in between, however, if you're going to criticise the centre half’s for their distribution when it's not their primary jobs, then why not Digger? You can't criticise one (two?), then exempt the other, which appears to be happening...

it's not the choice its the accuracy. How many times does the big glove go up to apologise to someone for an inaccurate punt

Anytime our fullbacks are involved from the back we play well... Is'nt this off-topic?

Can we just fookin stop going on about it... When i mentioned poor distribution I was talking about Murph, and he wasn't even playing long balls (just nackered imo)

I'm just ****ed that everytime someone goes on about long ball Barry gets hammered.

And Digger? Disagree about Dillon, when he does it at least he's aiming at someone, and he hit a great 50 yard ball to feet in Drogheda. Anyway, can we let it lie now?
