Longford to Dublin After Friday Nights Game

Hi lads.

I think I've posted this here before, but it's worth a go.

I am going up to the game next Friday, but need to get back to Dublin after the game.
Is there any way of getting back to Dublin from Longford, i.e. bus or train ?

Unless you're planning on hanging around until 3.15 in the morning then you'll miss all buses and trains.

id check the bus eireann site, buses do always be pulling in and out at all hours of the night! i know you can get into longford on a bus from dublin at 1 and half 12 at night so there might be buses going the other way! ring the station or check the website.
