Lads:

What has happened to our forum.

It is too quiet around here. Giving that the club is stumbling into yet another crisis this forum should be mad busy. Or is it that people are just so fed up with up with the state of the club.?

Anyone going to the Fundrasing dinner at end of month ?

When is the transfer window opening ? Its badly needed at this stage.

I'm at uni and haven't been able to see a match since the Finn Harps one. Which players are doing well (if any) and who's doing poorly?

Think everyone is just fed up John, it's the same old story etc. etc. Like the ox, I won't be able to get to my next game until June 'cos of final year exams etc, but i'm not exactly gutted to be missing games either. (Will sort out SC membership etc then as well) Whatever about whats happening on the pitch, bear in mind that Limericks licence is being reviewed again in April. There are stipulations that have to be achieved so that our license will be renewed again, and I believe that one of those is that a new home has to be found as the club will not be allowed to continue at the Pike next season. What position are the club currently at in finding a solution to this problem? Anyone know? I'm sure I can give a guess though

The answer to the ground question is very little work has been done. I have a feeling that the Club think that all they had to do was to get the license. Sanctions were imposed and ,as you rightly say, will be monitored. The fact that we are bottom of the league does not help either as we are really in the spotlight.

Last years remaining players are not happy with the situation either from what i am being told.

Looking bad or what ?

Looks like we could be going back to Plan A sometime soon, as discussed in the SC meetings ;) Its the only forward in my opinion....unfortunately.

The lack of activity is due to the rampant mis-management of the club. It has gone on for so long and has descended into such farce that everyone is giving up on it. It's pretty sad but .....

It's now or never that the ante should be upped. Will people be allowed to ask questions at this Ray Houghton dinner? I'd nearly buy one especially to ask some embarrassing questions in front of everyone.

Excellent idea!!
I'm on for it. Lets embaress them at this unless they are willing to come clean and let the public know what needs to be done for the licencing and what they are doing.

Well if the SC are thinking of getting a table or tables, keep us up to date here! I'd be on for it too. I'll be at the Ireland V Romania game the night before aswell, could make a long weekend out of it :D

Final year of college (for now anyway!)

Work

A raft-load of personal problems. :)

Also I suspect that my relationship with the internet is on the wane for some bizarre reason.

Niceish weather at the minute.

Championship Manager (where I managed to get Limerick into the Premier at the first time of asking I might add, pipping Sligo Rovers for the first division title on goal difference. :D)

Thats cos you're leaving college soon, like myself, and the free high speed access that you've taken for granted for the last 4\5 years will be available to you no more! I'm going to get broadband in during or after the summer, as I simply couldn't live with a dial-up connection. It'd drive me insane :D

Consider it done my friend. With a name like FC Hammer I suspect him to be somebody affiliated to the the club in some way out to smash us uncouth fans.

As for the table I can't afford €50 for a ticket so my wonderful presence will no doubt be sorely missed. Hopefully it'll be a huge success.

That's complete and other rubbish. It's because we care so much about the club that we don't enjoy seeing it being run in the fashion that it is. It takes a fairweather fan to put up with any old rubbish and that's not an accusation that many here deserve. Feeling down because your club underachieves doesn't make you a sunshine supporter, it means that you care.

do you only sing when your winning!!!! :) :)

If you were a Limerick fan you'd know that really we don't sing at all except on very rare occasions (Kilkenny away last summer anyone?) :)

Maybe you fancy a few off of here....you're doing an awful lot of winking in your posts. And just because you may have supported the club longer than others (i've supported them since Billy Hamiltons reign in the late 80's) doesn't mean that you're the salmon of knowledge regarding Limerick FC. Practice what you preach - if you want singing, then sing.
