Limerick DL 7 West Waterford/East Cork League 0
alan barry 4, johnaton grant 2, Pa boyle,
i think alan got 4

waterford/cork were so poor it was not even funny shocking team if limerick had taken half of the sitters they missed it would of been 15-0

nevllie
cleary
googin
mcgarry
colbert
P. boyle
hartnett
coner kav
hughes
grant
barry

subs used
clarke for grant, sherlock for googin, lad from kilmallock for mcgarry dont know his name centre half,

agree with you on this game thomas.the opposition were brutal who did nothing in attack.easliy could have been double figures.an excellent second half display but limerick took awhile to get going.moloney was the centre back who came on for mcgarry.a ggod young player.clarke camr on for grant who scored a stunner from 30yards in fairness to him.sherlock came on for boyle on the wing.think goggin played the 90mins?dont know how exactly the scoring went cause there were so many chances but to me there looked to be at least 2 own goals?possibly more?think a hartnett corner went directly in? no doubt limerick will have tougher games than this tho.all in all tho a good result and a big player turnout on the day.a very poor attendance tho.id say around 50 at the game on a very cold day

good result for limerick, poor opposition no doubt about that cant remember neville having to make a save, grants goal worth the fiver to get in alone.i thought clarke would have been playing but its a big squad so competition for places no bad thing.i counted at least 20 players togged out. hughes very good on the wing quick and used the ball well, the only surprise was that it took limerick so long to score.

Wouldn't read anything into this result lads. A team from WWEC rarely makes it beyond round 2/3 of national or provincial competitions and I cannot recall ever a team from this league making an open draw. Much stiffer competition ahead.

i think the draw is being made on tuesday night march 15th?there was talk of it being played over a weekend in dublin but i think that has been changed to just a normal semi final with first picked getting home advantage.Limerick DL and kerry ,tipp and aul are the 4 teams i think but not 100%certain about this.2 tough games by the look of it anyway.

well done 2 the limericks oscar traynor on a great result ,, goals seem 2 come easy for this team,, but an even greater bonus is not leaking any goals, so a semi final awaits now,, would limerick be fancied now 2 make the final,, i think so,, , again well done 2 captain pat mcgarry and his team ,, all of limerick will be cheering, ye are doing our league proud so keep it going now

Not sure, I think one of the Defence Forces players played with somebody in the Intermediate Cup. Protest to be heard on Tuesday next.

Heard that too, Kerry at home to Limerick and Dublin A.U.L. at home to Tipperary Southern District League. If true, it appears Dublin A.U.L won their protest against the Defence Forces and A.U.L. must have beaten Sligo. Didn't hear a result from Sligo, anybody know when was it played and what was the score?

It seems the Defence forces have appealed.

Have they? It will hold up the competition then. Sligo are still in it, awaiting the outcome of Defence Forces/Dublin A.U.L. and the winners then playing the TSDL.
