Brendan Kennedy: 8.5
Three brilliant saves at crucial points of the game, and never threatened by a cross. Surely a starter against Cork City.

Pierre Ennis: 6.5
"Perrie" Ennis, as the PA announcer described him, performed competently without ever showing in attack.

Killian Brennan: 7.5
A few misplaced passes aside, Killian was outstanding in a relatively unfamiliar position. Excellent going forward, and always eager to get on the ball.

Wes Byrne: 9 - Man of the Match.
Skipper for the day, and performed the role brilliantly. Never stopped talking and coaxing a second-string XI through a tough assignment. Despite being played out of position at centre-half, Wes played superbly himself.

Derek Griffin: 7.5
A little unsure in the air early on, but back to form in second half.

Keith Maher: 6
Employed in the right-sided position he occupied at the same ground against the same opposition in Dublin City's last cup game (2003 FAI Cup 3rd round), and doesn't look any more like a midfielder now. Good to see him back in the team, but he needs to be up-front.

Dave McGill: 6.5
Not a bad game, at least he looked up for it (in a more positive fashion than last Friday...) Never had a scrap of luck, but did okay.

Ray Scully: 7
Not Ray's lucky day either, but some nice footwork, passing and awareness as he continues to recuperate from the injury picked up against Derry.

Dom Tierney: 6.5
Good first half, faded a bit after the break before being replaced.

Philly Hughes: 8.5
Fairly quiet first hour or so, but exploded in the final quarter, tucking away two very neat finishes. Just what we need, someone to finish off those chances.

Robbie Collins: 7
Nice to see Robbie get a run in the first team, one or two tricks didn't come off, but overall a positive performance. Should have scored at 0-1.

SUBS:

Cottsy O'Connor: 8.5
Talk about an impact subsitute! Scored a crisp equaliser and set up another. Reputation growing along with his confidence.

Keith Foy: 6.5
Nice, professional cameo role against his old club.

Barry Burke: 6
Put himself about in his brief time on the field.
