Is the game going to sell out??

Not sure, still are tickets available on general sale. Never seen so many competitions and giveaways and I know of premium tickets for sale at knockdown rates.

Mad really, where are alll the people that were attending games in croker.

I imagine it might not sell out until the day, but I'd be fairly confident will. Depends if they count all the empty premium seats I guess.

Still plenty of people on here looking for tickets anyway. You can usually tell the ones with lots of empty seats cos everyone gets sorted for tickets off their own bat.

Do you think if I go up on the day that there will be a ticketmaster truck there? I'm not in a position to buy the tickets for the Norway game as well, you see.

It would be ideal if i could just travel up early on Fri and buy tickets solely for the Russia game. I'd imagine there will be a few left for general public sale??

As an aside, I wouln't compare the attendance of this match to that of Croker but instead that of the old Lansdowne. The old place only held 42,000 for competitive games so 50,000 seats for a match of this order should be plenty.

think the official capacity is 51,700 now although some of the seats are restricted view for rugby at least

I'm in UK and my Russia tickets haven't arrived yet. Anyone else over here got theirs yet?

Cheers. My mistake. It was 42,000 for friendlies..I think.

So, anyone know/think there will be a ticket truck there on the night?

It's hard to know. Looks like it's only Premium Level tickets that are available on ticketmaster now, I'd hazard a guess to say that the vast majority of cheaper tickets (€55 and €70) are now sold.

Give the ticket office a ring and they'll let you know - 01 8999500, then option 2.

Cheers. not able to head up now, in any case. :(

I'd say the FAI and Ticketmaster are holding a few tickets back. I'd be confident of getting a ticket from a Ticketmaster truck or from a fan at face-value if I went up on the day!

Find it hard to believe they have shifted all the "normal" tickets, tbh. And I would rather watch at home than in a premiun seat.

What did I say? I bloody knew it!

They must think we're stupid. Returned from the Russian FA, my eye. Feel sorry for the people who were forced to buy the Norway tickets.
