Old boys stun Athlone

Athlone Town 1-2 Kildare County
Kildare came from behind to win at St. Mel’s Park with former Athlone players, Martin Reilly and Shane Harte, getting the goals.
It seemed as though the Thoroughbreds unbeaten record was about to come to a halt when Adrian Murphy put the home side into the lead after just two minutes of the second half. The Athlone player fired home from 25 yards out for a spectacular goal which kicked Kildare into action.
