Longford 1 - 1 Derry City FT.
That puts a bit of a dent in Derry's promotion hopes. The last few results have been poor. Maybe the lads were a bit over-confident...
Hopefully we can win the rest of our games. It'd be good to win the title by beating Monaghan on the last day...

Shocking crowd at Richmond Park.

Absolutely woeful. I thought there'd be the usual crowd across from the main stand, but noone. How many's there? 600, if even?

Looks like they've closed off 3/4 of the ground with only the main stand open. Looks about 500.

I hope they dont intend to show any of the semi finals at the same time.

I would say there is less than 500 at the match. The FAI should be shot for making both teams play on a saturday afternoon to suit RTE who pay rubbish money for showing games. Pats and Sporting both loosing out big time on much needed cash.

Same here. But they are showing Fingal v Pats on Sat at 1.00. in 2 weeks time. There should be 100 at that game.

No one behind both goals, don't think there is anyone on the camera side, is there even 400 at this game ?
And we have this silly day/time to look forward to for the Sligo game next month.

Don't worry, we'll bring more than Fingal bring to any away game :nerd:

Crowd was just over 800 apparently. Better than I had thought there'd be.
Luckily it didn't go to a replay as it was set for Tuesday at 3pm

I predict Bohs v Pats and Rovers v Rovers in Tallaght with the ref riding us rock solid and it ending up with the Bohs v Shams final the FAI are hoping for.

Bohs and Shams to be kept apart alright...with both of them getting a home draw in the semi.

Hopefully that defeat might deflate mons a bit! Hopefully Sligo stuff them again in the LC final to dent confidence a bit more! On the cup itself. I would agree that FAI want Bohs v Shams in order to have a decent attendance in the Aviva! It's probably the only game that would get 15000+
the 4 best teams in the semi finals. If i had to pick a team to play, it would be Pats. If only to save them of getting to another final that will just break their hearts in the end... ;)

Bohs v Sligo. Shams v Pats

The two Rovers playing would easily be the biggest attendance. No question at all about it

My question? Yes it was genuine. 3pm kick off on a Tuesday afternoon would have been ridiculous. Almost as bad as Saturday at 1pm....

I hope its a Rovers vs Rovers final, the chance to stop them getting more silverwear this season would be a pleasant experience.

But you would have had the opportunity for more if we had not knocked you out of the LC semi final.

My conspiracy theory is the draw will be Rovers v Pats and Bohs v Sligo in an effort to ensure a big crowd for final. Rovers should beat Pats, and either of Bohs or Sligo will bring a bit of a crowd for a grudge match

Those are the four best teams in the league. There's no way any particular final match-up could be engineered from that.

I just hope the cup stays in Dublin :)
Pats havent won it in 49 years is that right? if that is the case then i would like them to win it this year. Either way ,all 4 teams are well capable of beating each other so its not an easy call to make in who will be in the final.
Would an away draw be more beneficial financial ways ? seeing that you wouldnt have to fork out for the security etc.

Knew it. Fixed to f*ck.
Anyone else think there was no number on the first ball out?
A home draw for the Hoops is all I wanted regardless of the opposition, and got it. What chance rte will want this at 1oc on the Saturday? Moany Mahon will do his nut!!

Its either Friday night or Sunday at 3, Hopefully its the Friday night game, Tough draw but actually prefer Rovers away than Bohs away

Am I right in saying that the first division results weren't even shown on MNS?
