I see they've discontinued their threetext eircom League coverage (along with the rest of their news and sport service), replacing it with entertainment and showbiz news. Another giant leap from the home of the eircom League!

Yeah, I noticed that. Its bad form really I think, but what can ya do. Could be that there was some problem between TV3 and the Examiner which was providing all the news and sport?

The aertel thing has been pointed out a few times, and they really do deserve praise for it. Maybe a few emails congratulating them on it would be a good idea, seeing as we've been quick enough to criticise in the past!

Oh we can still be critical of this. They let John Byrne write it!
Not that I'm suggesting John would show bias in any way towards a certain homeless hooped club :D
