Just been watching a bit of this. That save was indeed fantastic. The girl taking the throw-ins gets great length on them. Could prove quite dangerous. We're not actually doing too badly.

Agree - very gutsy performance.

I suspect these Brazilian gals have a few gears in 'em if necessary.

Her grandparents are from Northern Ireland, which is a part of The United Kingdom. The Republic of Ireland, however, does not recognize Northern Ireland and offered Zoe a spot on its team.
Not quite as Black and White as that. But I laughed.
So an American/English dual citizen with Northern Irish grandparents qualifies for us now. Great stuff.

'But just as things were shaping up for Zoe, she found herself in limbo. The Irish Football Association, the governing body for football in Northern Ireland, lodged a protest with FIFA to prevent the Republic of Ireland from selecting Northern Irish-born players who had no blood link to the Republic.
Zoe was suspended as the protest awaited a ruling. This spring, the Court of Arbitration for Sport, an international arbitration body set up to settle disputes related to sport, ruled against the Northern Ireland complaint.'
That was a really heartless cynical (but ultimately fruitless) ploy by the IFA:clown: to deprive this young girl of an appearance at the WC finals.
