From the original squad out go Kenny, Carr, McAteer, Duff, Kilbane, Breen and Rory Delap, and in come Douglas, Steven Reid and Alan Quinn.
I would have thought after Finnans earlier than expected return he'd get the call. Why Alan Quinn though!? Surley he has no international future?

Gary Breen is out as well. The Sunderland players were always going to pull out. They have Crewe three days later and need the points to assure their place in the playoffs.
Based on all that then, he'll probably play Andy Reid on the left, Keane and Miller in the middle, and maybe Holland on the right. keane and Morrison up front, but I'd rather see Lee get a full game..
Anyone know what time kick-off is on Wednesday?

It's true. Connolly and Holland are out, Keanes a doubt, so in come Doyle, Barrett and Jason Byrne

The Other Keane, Roy, also a doubt. Trained this morning, but may not travel.

Kerr will definetly get the chance to try out a second string team. Most of them won't get a sniff come qualifiers, but it will do their coonfidence no harm if they get a good result

Agreed on that one, if he gets a call up in tyhe 2nd division why not Heffernan? Or even Alan Mahon or Mark Kennedy for that matter?

Well, Mahon is involved with Ipswich in the play-off race, and AFAIK Kennedy is injured. Heffernan's another story, since Notts County were relegated to the Third Division on Saturday. I believe he's leaving them at the end of the season on a Bosman, and once he's proved himself a level higher then I'm sure we'll be seeing him in and around the senior squad.

Mahon's with Wigan, but he's still in the play off places, think he might have been taken off at the weekend though.
AFAIK Kennedy is injured.
Took the free kick that led to Wolve's equaliser yesterday, rasper of a shot too. Maik Taylor spilled it only got Cort to nod it in

Heard that about Heffernan as well, if he can score that many in a cr*p Notts County team, he should get snapped up by one of the promoted teams from Div 2, or maybe someone like Reading

He should call up Celtics McGeady, Scotland are sniffing around a bit too much for my liking.

It's a meaningless friendly in terms of the result, but for O'Brien, Maybury, Reid, Miller another chance to show what they can do.
Barrett has had a poor season at Coventry but he has ability, he will never make it as a striker but probably will become a right-sided midfielder, Coventry City fans don't understand why Eric Black hasn't given him a more of a look-in.
Doyle is one-dimensional, abrasive, hard-working, in the Kilbane mode. I don't think he is international quality.
It's tough to predict the team, maybe a chance to see O'Shea in midfield?
Given
Maybury Cunningham O'Brien O'Shea
S.Reid Miller Kinsella A.Reid
Morrison Keane
Still a decent team which is positive with some many no-shows.

At least his cousins still there. I'd really love to see him get a goal or two.

Lets just hope he gets a game first, then we'll see about the goals.
Anyone know the best way on the web to keep up with Ireland u21s score? Believe it's kicking off shortly. Usually use sky sports website but can't find their vidiprinter thing today.
