Just a test here, just wondering if anyone out there has quit their jobs to go to your team's match? With Europe looming for the Town, i will be quitting my job to ensure i make the trip for the away leg! Is this totally insane or has anyone actually done anything similar?

Remember when we were in Europe last, I was trying to arrange a working schedule which would have given me five days in a row off to go to Bulgaria. In the end, I couldn't afford to go, but two weeks afterwards, I got a new job which paid three times the first one, so I could have gone after all! Wasn't too happy about that...

Didn't you already quit your job for the cup semi, or was that someone else?

When we played Celtic in Glasgow I had just started a job (2nd week) but simply had to go. Had just finished college and it was temporary thing so there was no chance of a day off. Had arranged for the Thursday morning off due to a "dentists appointment" as long as I worked the hours in the evening. Got the 8am flight to Glasgow an got my dad to ring in sick for me. After the game RTE showed the Pats crowd and showed me and a mate (also off sick from work) for about 3/4 minutes. We went straight back that night and when I got home about 3/4 I watched the video of it and decided not to go in on the Thursday. Went in on the Friday and everybody knew what happened and talked about it. The boss didn't say a word but told me that this was my last week...
Also split up with a girl for football but thats another story
