Folks,
I recently got around to watching the Official FIFA World Cup 1990 film which I'd Sky+'d off ESPN Classic in June. There's a segment following a Dublin plumber called Joe McDermott with a great song in the background which I'd never heard before. It has a Celtic-rock sound to it and the chorus goes "They're waiting on, waiting on, waiting on the line for Jack the Lad!"
Anyone know it?
I wonder is Joe still with us also...
