Yes folks Avatar is back in the cinema with 8 minutes of extended footage. Yes, you read correctly, 8 whole minutes.

I wonder if it'll make much. I kind of hope not.

is there anybody out there (bar my mum and dad) who haven't seen the bloody thing?

I haven't, just like I've never seen any Star Wars films either. I may be the only person who can say that.

your not missing much Osarusan. I hate Star Wars!!! Controversial I know. Avatar is worth a watch if you can catch it at a 3d cinema.

I haven't. Absolutely no inclination to either.

I've seen the Star Wars films though (well 5 of them). All cack.

Avatar is poor enough. Only reason I thought it was worth sitting through the first time was the 3D, otherwise it's a bit dull and not particulalry engaging. Definitely didn't justify the hype, or a second cinema release.

The CGI for me is off putting, I rarely watch any film with CGI in it. It really does ruin it imo.

+1. Although I'd say I've watched about 20 films in my almost 20 year life. Films are rubbish.

Films are rubbish.

Maybe the 20 you've watched are, but you might want a bigger sample before making such sweeping statements

I for one support the making of sweeping statements on little evidence.

No I've seen some good films amongst that 20 or so, it's just I have a very particular taste. It has to make me laugh, or else it's crap. Action/Romantic/Sci Fi/Any other type just don't appeal to me...

Do you watch much tv? If we know what kind of shows you like I'm sure we can recommend some quality film choices.

I haven't seen it either. I might for the extra 8 minutes though...

I have seen the original Star Wars Triliogy (many times). Never been bothered to watch the new ones.

Apart from sport, feck all tbh. The Inbetweeners and Flight of the Conchords are the only 2 series I can say I've watched in the last few years...
