Anyone know what the biggest fee received by an LOI club is ?
Straight up fee, and also add ons and % of sell on fee
Has any LOI club ever received a big sell on fee ? Would Cork (or receiver) have gotten anything if Kevin Doyle had moved from Wolves this summer ?

Didn't Cork sell their rights to any future % when they were up the creek a few years ago? Think it went for 100k

I think Cork lost something like 600,000 euros by doing that?

I'd imagine Cork selling Roy O'Donovan was the highest

We sold Joe Hanrahan to Manchester United for £30k in 1985. That'd be pushing E150k in today's money I'd say?

Thanks. I was using a more scientific method (http://www.finfacts.ie/Private/bestprice/guinnessindex.htm) though. :)

I think Roy O'Donovan went for something like 400k-500k. It might have been £350k sterling which was close to €500k at the time I think.

Harps sold Brendan Bradley for £150 in 1975 to Lincoln City, £50 more than they paid for him in 1969.£150 could buy you 7 tvs, 1 washing machine and 40 crates of molotif cocktails at the time. He came home after I think 13 appearances(?) homesick!

as far as i know Ciaran, he got injured pretty badly either in post-season or pre-season....

he injured his ankle while stepping up his recovery from his ankle injury in April - out for 3 to 4 months from July.
