Flying tackle fells cheeky streaker
THERE were six thousand blushes at the Carlisle Grounds, Bray on Sunday when the friendly match between Bray Wanderers and Glasgow Celtic was interrupted by a local man who stripped naked and streaked across the pitch wearing just a pair of socks and running shoes. Tony `Galley' Gallagher (30) from Wolfe Tone Square, Bray ran the length of the pitch to huge cheers, giving all parts of the ground an unwelcome eyeful of his bare essentials, before he was downed by a flying tackle by Garda David O'Sullivan from Greystones. Gallagher won a £120 bet through his x-rated romp but he faces a hefty fine for his actions when he appears before Bray District on a charge of indecent exposure. `I only did it for a bit of fun,' said Tony. `I just hope the judge sees the funny side.'
