Interesting that four Irish players could be contesting the upcoming Scottish Cup final.

I'm sure everyone on these boards will be shouting for Dunfermline with the largest Irish contingent (Dempsey, Hunt and Byrne) rather than Celtic who may have just Miller playing?

Er, no. There's more than a few of us hereabouts who number ourselves among the greatest fans in the world... ;) but then you knew that anyway, didn't you? :)

To be honest my post was a bit over the top and I apoligies but:
It WAS in general football
It WAS in a thread regarding Celtic
It wasn't being abusive to anybody
I wasn't using bad language

I just think that worse posts have been made without the poster being told to "Fcuk off and die"

I didn't want to start any trouble but it wasn't a clever post-why don't we all just forget this little incident?

Every time a Celtic thread pops up its hijacked by idiots on both sides. Bosco - expect a warning. Liam88 - grow up.

Now can we please have a Celtic thread without someone claiming that Celtic are Irish and someone else claiming they're not.

Absolutely. A Pars friend of mine reckons Noel Hunt will go on and do the business. I was very impressed when I saw him in one of the games they played against Rangers earlier this year; the boy is fast and - at least that day - looked well up for it. I've always been impressed by Gary Dempsey's energy and eye for a pass as well. Not sure about Byrne tho', although it's still early days there...
