Not sure your point here. if these "hard men" wanted "a row" i would have thought the LUAS full of Bohs fans offered the oppurtunity ??????? Why the hell take the bus to an empty pub 15 miles away ?

It's the Turbine, what do you expect? Though the fact they are redesigning the paper AGAIN suggests it may be on its last legs, so we won;t have to put up with it from them for much longer
That would be absolutely, absolutely excellent. It's a loathsome rag.

The story has a whiff of "SARI-gate" about it to me.
What, you think someone doctored the CCTV footage?

Yeah it is embarrassing, that someone interpreted that as a political symbol, and even more embarrassing that someone agreed with them.
You don't think it's possible to get a bus from Tallaght to Phibsboro at all? Even, say, the 77a to town and walk the 15 minutes to Phibsboro?
Do you think that it's realistic? It isn't physically possible to get a direct public bus between the two grounds, and nobody is going to walk part of the route either.

Are you for real?! If nothing else, you can get the 10 from town to Dalyer. And saying that none of this happened because people won't walk half a mile is bordering on the single most insane thing you have ever come out with. And that's saying something.
I won't be at Tallaght tomorrow I'm afraid. It isn't physically possible to get a direct public bus from where I work to the ground. It'd mean getting the DART into town and the LUAS out to Tallaght. I don't think that's realistic, so I won't be there.

Pretty sad that you get so much pleasure from doing that kind of ****. Sometimes it seems as though some Bohs fans hate Rovers more than they love Bohs. No emails to Sari this time Stu no?

Your disingenuous nature regarding all things Rovers injected "skinhead" in where bald would have done and would have have been closer to the truth.

Now dont shoot this down MC, I could be waaaay off the mark here but is it totally beyond the bounds of possibility that some of the openly facist shams fans who post on your forum could possibly have travelled on one of your European away trips?
Or are their facist profiles on the shams forum a **** take too?
And their profiles on st0rmfront are just furthering the joke?
And the racist chanting against Ndo and Boco are almost the topping of the joke?
With the topping being the "relationship" Shams fans have with the "Irish Clan Roma" (I suggest googleing some of their lets say colourfull political beliefs).

I'm not going to defend clowns who post on ********** and mention SRFC,nor am I going to defend right wing thinkers on the ultras forum o even the few who have given rascist abuse over the years.
What I will defend is the picture taken in Modena as I personally know 3 of the lads and none are what you could call right wing.As for the link with the Irish clan.i know nothing about them so cant comment. There is a few Rovers fans who attend Roma games.Cant say I'd regard any of them fascist.
"Relationships" is a very loose word and must be treated carefully.eg,One fan could be on ********** with a Rovers avatar and this could be taken as having a "relationship" with fascists.I'm a republican!Does that mean Rovers fans now have links with the IRA??
Most people who attend Rovers games wouldn't know what "Irish clan" means!

Perhaps you'd like to link to all these fascist profiles on the ultras forum? I notice you did use plural so I'm sure you will be able to provide many examples from the 2000 registered profiles on that site.
As for the photo posted here I also know the lads doing the Roman salute and they are far from right wing nazis believe me.

Time to go back to arguing about wheter its possible to use public transport from Tallaght to Phibsboro so.
So after 5 pages its been concluded that Shams fans are not intelligent enough to get more than one form of transport to the other side of the city.

Pathetic? Its pathetic alright that a group of grown men would have their photo taken in nazi salute. Thats whats pathetic. And mypost trying to pass this off as people simply raising their hands is pathetic. And the picture of the Bohs degenerates doing the same thing is pathetic.
Whats it got to do with the thread? This thread is about scummy Rovers fans. Best place for it in my opinion.
No, no emails to SARI, Hula, and no emails to SARI from me when a group of your fellow Rovers fans racially abused Joey Ndo either.

no, i think its closer to Shams fans not being intelligent enough to recognise that just because theres no direct bus from Tallaght to Phibsbrough it doesnt mean that a group of hooligans cant figure out another way to do it.

While conclusions are being drawn, has anyone actually worked out what Rovers are supposed to do to prevent trouble in Phibsboro 5 hours after a match in Tallaght?

Yup all fair enough.
But from the outside it does seem you have an unsavoury minority attaching themselves to your club.
Shams is obviously not a facist club or any of that nonsense but it does seem a small minority with some ropey beliefs follow Shams.
Theres nothing you can do about that but when it starts rearing its ugly head with racist abuse etc surely then these clowns must be told where to go.
Nobody wants to see it fester, especially in this economic climate.

What's pathetic is the litany of excuses used by Rovers fans. Roman salute my eye and even if it is why do it in Modena? Did you accept the "It was The Red Hand of Ulster Salute" excuse of the Linfield fans? The worrying fact is that from the situation you had ten years or so ago when there were antifa SRFC Ultras stickers about town, you now have people on your forum with righ twing avatars, youtube videos proving a small minority of your support was involved in giving racial abuse to Joey Ndo that only you lot can't hear and now a group of Rovers fans giving the Nazi...Sorry..."Roman Salute" (honest guv). You've gone way beyond plausible deniability at this stage. Now no one is calling Shamrock Rovers FC racist or Fascist but pointing out that there is an element which is thankfully in the minority at this point that should be weeded out before it gets out of hand. Surely that is something all sane Rovers fans should want to do and far from it being a smear on your club, acting on the problem would show you up in a good light.

If you look at the pic from another angle you can see the Rovers fans are just saluting someone across the road.

no, i just lifted the fine work of someone on the Bohs forum. You and your mate mypost can deny and deflect this all you want or you can condemn it. I thought you would have done so by now instead of trying to pin the blame on someone for bringing it to light. But then again, after the denial of the Joey Ndo racial abuse, im not really that surprised that your using the same tack again.

Of course there hasn't been any more on it. The people inolved will be up in court in a couple of months. Other than Busses and Taxis an easy way to get from Tallaght to the establishment in question is get the Luas to Smithfield and walk ten minutes. The incident happened around seven ffs. There was more than enough time to get there. The fact that I was well and truly on the road to drowning my sorrows in a nearby establishment can vouch for that.
