Democracy not a lot of use if those elected withhold information and/or misuse authority (either deliberately or just through stupidly)
Wait - is this the League of Ireland forum or the Current Affairs forum? :p

Its Ireland Stu, we make the same mistakes (at all levels) time after time and yet are still surprised it does not end well

But who vets these interested parties? Players reps? Chairman? Aren't these some of the people you hate having a say in Irish football

Well i suppose its members would have to vet them. How is it done anywhere else?

Bohs didn't lose an asset. They sold it (mulitple times) and wasted the proceeds

But if it wasn't theirs to sell then they would have had to concentrate on raising funds like any other club, fund raising etc. Its fairly dumb the way it all panned out which is case and point that clubs shouldn't have to manage the grounds they play in.

Clubs shouldn't exist if their business model includes selling their ground everytime they get in trouble.

You think owning a ground is a negative?

And all the trusts in the world won't change that

Neither Bohs nor Shels sold their ground when they got into trouble.

Aaron Callaghan taking over at Bohs? He's a great coach but his spells with us and Athlone as manager were disastrous.

..... wow ! the Tallaght fixation goes on  The LOI is a small enough community and few things are news by the time there is an "official announcement" (see pretty much every topic on here).

.....But if it makes you feel important to believe shams knew who was to be Bohs new manager before Bohs (the club that appointed him) well, fire away  gives the rest of us a laugh at least.

Search deep down, as far as you can go. There has to be a semblance of a sense of humour there somewhere, even for a Bohs fan.
