DC have announced a new promotionw here if you are introduced by a curent season ticket holder you can get a season ticket for 60 euro, now thats great value and it gets bums on the seats, which is what DC need...are you watching drogs ??/
Are Town watching as well? Our season ticket option is the same price as Dwogs... CHF are obviously getting desperate, if they're willing to give season tickets for that price. Good marketing, or unrealistic expectations of money in for the season?

i think its bums on seats at this stage, remember how little they had at their home game against us.........agree there should be a ground season ticket for our club, but dublin is a big market and there are 5 teams looking for fans, price can come into it for the floaters
Bums on seats, or money troubles calling for desperate measures? In the programme against us they had about 4 players/backroom staff sponsored. The floaters don't buy the dublin club nonsense anymore than the rest of us - they're far more likely to go to a few games at the proper Dublin clubs.
Drogman.

Watch out Drogs? Our season ticket is great value and plus you get to see a team win ;) and who will have a good support behind them. Good idea by Dublin City but they have no fan base and noone is interested in supporting them, so I can't see it working.

Although many are gleefully marking this down as the beginning of the end, it seems a fairly logical and pragmatic step to me. The club must have realised that support would be minimal all season at the outset of the campaign, and now they're making an effort to boost attendances with a fairly bold initiative. The club have very little to lose here.
Personally, if such drastic price-cutting is to occur, I would have concentrated on the regular "ticket" prices, possibly cutting them from 15 euro to 12, and if that succeeds, slashing them in proportion to the number of extra fans who show up.
15 euro in? If you go to both away games you'll pay €30 Euro.
Hummm....say if foot.ie fans got 20 between them at a cost of €1200. Then Longford fans, City fans, Drogs fans, Rovers fans, Bohs Fans etc could use them for each of their respective away games...saving a packet in the process....
;) :D

Good luck. You'll have to find an existing season ticket holder (or twenty) to introduce you in order to be eligible for the 60 euro offer.

It'll be very hard to find 20 dublin city seaon ticket holders (that is if they have that many) :p :D

Yeah, that's a new one, well done.
didn't expect the desperate scramble for financial survival to start before the desperate scrap for premier division survival. Still, to just sit back and watch Seery's vile franchise disappear beneath the surface

Take a joke

It's not having the p*ss taken I object to, it's the lack of originality. I mean, even Rovers being homeless stops being funny after a while, and DC having no fans is reaching that point. Not because it's offensive or annoying, just because it gets boring.
Shame we don't have any fans, as I had some good chants lined up for you boys tomorrow ;)

No, surely once you got one, you could introduce several other people - classic pyramid selling racket...

No, it doesn't!!!

I'm been the Devils advocate here, but aren't you being a bit harsh. Its the guys living you're talking about.

Maybe he should've considered that when he was extending the season for us and Harps with the threat of a ridiculous court case.... Or maybe when he launched the club saying that the ultimate aim was to ditch the eL and get in a European/Atlantic Superleague....

Maybe I am being harsh, but he knew the risks when he entereed into this game, he knew that the league has more than enough Dublin teams already so he deserves everything he gets IMO
