Lads what has happened to Cork City this season, I really thought that with the signings and team you have that you would be right there challenging with Shels but it appears that the league is almost over already. I know it is early but from reading your match reports it really seems like something is missing from your team’s spirit.
This weekend I really hope the Drogs win and at 5-1 with Paddy Powers I really really hope we win but in terms of the overall season I wouldn’t like to see Cork consigned to a mid table type of season and in reality is would be a disgrace for them to finish anything outside the top 4.
Is it a case that Pat is simply just a talker? If you are out of the top 4 after perhaps after 50% of the season and playing the way you have been so far do you think he will be told to leave?
Too many defenders off form. On the plus side we've scored in every game.
Early days yet, league is still tightly packed.
early days pete but we failed to score against shels.mind u we did if you count on dan murrays effort!!!
I think I just erased that match from my memory

we're just giving ye all a head start :D Nah, the team will take a while to gel but the signs are there that its beginning to happen. the bad start has probably helped ease the pressure on the players somewhat, so its not all bad. the shels game was the one truely bad performance of the season and i think that was stage-fright more than anything- Dolan said it that we lost our bottle a bit. We'll be near the top come the end of the season- I don't doubt that. And we'll happily put your little run to the sword on friday while we're at it
although i wasnt at this one it was a well dodgy penalty against us.
My thoughts exactly.
And I wasn't there either.
Brilliant I love it. Just what being a city fan is all about.
Unadulterated bias.

I was actually there, didnt have a clue what the peno was for then and after looking at the replay a few times last night. I still couldnt see a thing..If it did hit georgies arm then surely it was ball to arm and accidental....
Conspiricy theorys are a bit off.
Bad luck is all it is IMO. We've had 2 soft spotters given against us, we've scored three ogs and gave away a silly peno. Only Rovers were made work for their goals. Even then Dan and Devine should had stoped both of those easily enough.
speaking of that Derry penalty, I dunno how he gave it. if anything it was ball to hand and its not like he changed the direction the ball was going in

I saw it 4 four times now and no way was it a penalty. Just our luck at the moment!
To be fair nobody would be able to see was it a handball from that far away(crap tv3 coverage  ) but I didnt see a hand ball eighter  but no City players protested so something must have happened!

i think its the fact that they didnt protest could be because they're getting used to having late penos given against them in the game.....

Or even because they just saw a team mate get sent off for protesting a decision.
You know eL refs, consistant to the last, sure thats why Shels have had 20 players sent off this season....wait a sec....
