Well lads,
How are the ex Kildare County lads doing so far this year. No doubt its tough going so far. I hope you get a win soon.
I heard Whelehan is struggling a bit. What about Philly Hughes and Ray Scully?
Is Keely still injured? Is Giller still as lively as ever?
Cheers for the info.

Whelehan's actually slotted in nicely beside McGauley, good strong player with a decent footballing brain. Keely's still out injured (he can play left-back, can't he? 'Cause we badly need one...) Scully has struggled, to be honest, and picked up a nasty injury after coming on as sub against Derry. Philly Hughes almost got us a draw against Shels despite only being on the pitch for about fifteen minutes. His partnership with Gary O'Neill is promising, but not very imposing physically.
As for Giller, he doesn't seem sure of his best formation and has stuck with a few players obviously out of form. He had a bit of a stomach bug lately, and so has been rather subdued. Still, this is the man who masterminded the First Division championship win with a fairly poor squad, so he deserves a chance to prove himself in the Premier.
PS: My favourite ex-Thoroughbred Barry Burke has only played out of position or as sub. :(

In fairness to Giller, he would have to be a Houdini if he is to avoid the drop. From the outside looking in, the club is just not geared for the top league. The majority of the players brought in have not played top league football before. O’Neill has been the one bright spark. Giller will do well to hold on to him. Not enough experience in the squad. I just hope the consequences of relagation don't obliterate the club totally.
