St. Pat's 'A' 0:2 UCD 'A'
Most comfortable win against another 'A' side, the UCD team have had in a few weeks. Talk of the terraces Carl Moore had a great first half and was taken down in the box and converted his own penalty. Second goal was a lovely goal, left-back david 'Doc' O'Conor ran forward with the ball, created a one-two with Stephen Doyle and collected the ball again free inside the area. he drew the Pat's 'keeper and from the by-line sent a high cross for Keith Ward to score from one yard out, vg.

Good to see Brian Shortall back.

UCD 'A': Brennann,Matthews,D.O'Conor,Shortall (Sean Russell),Leahy,Daniel Ledwith,Ward,M.Kelly (Danny Fallon), Samir Belhout,Doyle, Karl Moore (Tom O'Hallrohan).

Nonsense!
A a neutral,Tralee had all the ball and should have gotten alot more from the game.Tralee gave away a soft goal in the first half when they were dominating proceedings.Rovers had a few chances but nothing major,Tralee would feel like 2 points dropped, than 1 gained!!

St. Pat's 'A' 0:2 UCD 'A'
Most comfortable win against another 'A' side, the UCD team have had in a few weeks

Only got to see the 2nd half but Pats should’ve had a couple. Bit of a scramble I front of the UCD keeper after a free (Haverty was 3 yards out and should’ve buried it) and young Sean Doyle wasted a couple of great chances. The UCD no 7 was superb. A good bit ahead of any other forward thinking players on the park. Good test for a very young Pats side who’ve done well so far. Shows they’ve a long way to go. Of those who played for Pats only Noel Haverty (in central midfield) has played for the senior team in the league (usually at right back). Only other member of the senior panel was Neil Harney (right back)

Good to see both senior managers there too

Sporting Fingal’s Newstalk A Championship side maintained their unbeaten start to the campaign on Saturday by defeating Drogheda United 3-2 on their travels.

On target for the side managed by Robbie Horgan and coached by Shaun Maher were Steve Cummins, Colm James and Anthony McKay.

The win followed a 3-0 victory away to Tullamore Town at Leah Victoria Park, with McKay hitting a double and Jamie Duffy adding another.

Earlier last month, Fingal had also chalked up three goals without reply against Shelbourne, secured by Jason Marks and with a brace from Cummins.

Horgan’s troops have already progressed to the final of the A Championship League Cup competition where they will face Bohemians on a yet to be confirmed date.

Newstalk A Championship Results:

Sporting Fingal 1-1 Castlebar Celtic
Dundalk 0-4 Sporting Fingal
Sporting Fingal 2-2 Finn Harps
Sporting Fingal 2-1 Bohemians
Sligo Rovers 1-2 Sporting Fingal
Sporting Fingal 3-0 Shelbourne
Tullamore Town 0-3 Sporting Fingal
Drogheda United 2-3 Sporting Fingal.

No,. 7 for UCD should've been fans favourite pint-sized Keith Ward, he already has a winners medal from 2008.

I've always seen Rusty and Mahon at games, there was atime they shared the same touchline.
One advantage of a non-Senior game at Richmond park is a fan can listen in on the dressing-room HT and FT team talks from the ventilation pipes on wall of the Main Stand.
