Derval O'Rourke came up with the goods at a major championship again. Great silver setting a national record. 2 hundreths off gold.
Was over there for 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed it, even if was a bit warm. Rob Heffernan dissappointed he didn't get a medal in 20k but did a lot better than expected to come 4th in 50k. Olive Loughnane had been sick and had to drop out of 20k early on.
A lot of good performances from ailis McSweeney and both womens relay squads.
