FC Carlow : Shamrock Rovers - Round 8, Group 2.

Next weekend is a free weekend, I believe because of the built in Bank Holiday.
That may exclude some of the clubs from playing back games that weekend.

As far is I'm aware FC Carlow were awarded the Bray game as Bray couldn't field a team. It was meant to be played a couple of weeks ago.

Looks like Shels beat Sligo Rovers 3-0 as well. That leaves just Drogheda against Castlebar Celtic outstanding from Group 1.

we got a call the day before the game saying they couldnt field a team. i presumed it was due to their managerial problems

Looks like it was indeed awarded 3-0 to Sligo Rovers, not Shelbourne.

The final tables are here (http://www.airtricityleague.com/index.php/first).

A few discrepancies though - seems that have Bohemians 3-1 Finn Harps, instead of 4-1. Also Drogheda United 5-0 Finn Harps instead of 6-0.

And all three Bray Wanderers' outstanding games were awarded 3-0 against them.

And it seems as if the missing Drogheda United v Castlebar Celtic game wasn't played (even though the tables says they both played 16 games, the wins + draws + losses only add up to 15).

If a result of 0-0 in that game stood, each team should've had one more draw (and one extra point each). This doesn't seem to be the case (wins + draws + losses don't add up to games played in the official table).

TheBoss

On the Table there it has:

Castlebar Celtic W-4 D-3 L-8
Drogheda United W-3 D-3 L-9

Both does figures add to 15 games and not 16.

Also, look it has Castlebar on 16 Pts and Drogheda on 13 Pts, but according to those figures, they should have 15 and 12 respectively so therefore they got an extra point each.
