Don Cowen was class for the Town. McEvoy should be a big player for Bohs, sweet left foot. Great game :D

McEvoy's a class act, needs to bulk up though. Can see him doing well for Bohs in years to come.

I am no expert on the geography of Terryland but that doesn't look like an amazing crowd.

Clueless. Wouldnt see that kind of defending in the Junior leagues.

You were poor alright. As easy a win as we've had this season. In fairness to Cherrie, he looked injured but 3 headed goals and we walked the rest of the way

Full Time Galway utd 0 Shamrock Rovers 1. The camera tonight work by Setanta was dreadfull. It seemed like the cameraman
had the DT'S and couldn't keep up with the ball!

At least we got plenty of close-ups of the grass. Felix was loving that.

Most of us think he was brought back too early tbh.

Thought we were playing Drogs when I was walking into Oriel.:p

It's nicer than the yellow though.

What's happened Dundalk? They seem to have fallen apart completely since we beat them in Belfield.

They had problems with the cameras all night, constantly had the engineers working on the wiring of them as if they were shorting out or something?

We were desperately unlucky not to get something from the game tonight, a big improvement from the way we had been playing lately

Yep, agree GUFC2000. A draw would of been the fairest result. A bit of luck in front of goal and it could of been alot more. Mannus was inspired tonight I thought.

Not Foster bashing (honest) but I am wondering are we seeing glimpses of last season all over again. He had United top for the first 5 games of the season, but the backside quickly fell out of the thing after a flying start and in the end we finished in the play-off spots, only to be rescued by Cork and Derry's problems. Not suggesting Dundalk will finish in bottom 3 - their squad is too good for that - but I'd be a worried Dundalk fan.
Not as worried as a United fan though - if we had a striker worthy of the name last night we'd have taken something from the game, but Flood is gone and Sheppard is 11 games now without a goal in the league. Granted, Mannus was brilliant - my MOTM - but a bit more clinical up front and we'd have got at least a point, which I think is the least we deserved

in terryland last night. A big thank you to all the Shamrock rovers fans who travelled in numbers, were a credit to their club and probably kept our show on the road for the next few weeks anyway. Thanks

good win for Drogs over Spartak Fingal today.

Terrible result for us tonight. Probably rested too many of the first team and going down to 10 didnt help. Never a second yellow btw.

Drogheda look a much more solid outfit in fairness and defended quite well for the most part. Fairplay to their fans for adding some much needed colour to the Morton stand.

A bit of a gap could now open between the top 3 and the rest. We need to beat Pats and Rovers in our next games if we are to start challenging back near the top of the table. No easy task.

Great 3 points for us ! Considering the amount of players we had out .Kendrick appears to have followed o connor out the door . There was 5 young lads from the youths playing last night .
